Welcome to the website of the Local Committee of Mountain Hiking
in the Haute-Savoie - Coderando 74

Who are we?

We represent the French Federation of Mountain Walking, FFRP, in the Department of the Haut-Savoie

.Our objective is to promote mountain walking and for this:

• -We provide the federation of local walking associations
• We organise training courses for organisers of mountain walking and encourage an awareness of the mountain environment.
• - We maintain long distance footpaths of the Grande Randonnee (known as GR®
• -We propose 'formula' for licences/insurance specifically adapted for mountain walking
• - We organise walks in the local area
• -We inform walkers by distributing a quarterly bulletin 'Les Sentiers de la Hiaute' and specialist publications on mountain walking.
• - We officially represent walkers with public authorities
